New Safety Monitoring Relays Provide Enhanced Operation with up to 11 Safety Outputs


FREMONT, CA -Scientific Technologies, Inc. (STI), introduces SR18A and SR19E safety monitoring relays. Designed to provide enhanced safety monitoring capabilities, the SR18A is ideal for two-hand control, E-Stop and safety guarding applications where five safety outputs are required. The SR19E functions as a safety monitoring expansion relay designed to provide an additional eight safety outputs when used with the SR18A safety monitoring relay. Both carry the CE mark and are UL and C-UL listed.

The SR18A is a versatile safety monitoring relay that features dual channel inputs with three configuration possibilities, five safety outputs, selectable automatic or manual reset function, and two auxiliary outputs for status monitoring. The SR18A is 90 mm wide, mounts to industry standard 35mm DIN rails, and contains five LEDs for status and diagnostic indication. The SR19Efeatures dual channel inputs, eight safety outputs, automatic reset function and two auxiliary outputs for status monitoring. The 90 mm wide SR19E mounts beside the SR18A primary safety monitoring relay and contains four LEDs for status and diagnostic information.
