Identify Open Fuses Quickly and Safely Without Opening the Panel Door
ST. LOUIS - Reduce downtime and increase safety with the new Bussmann® Safety Module(TM) with the easyID(TM) fuse viewing window. It allows maintenance personnel to quickly identify open fuses without opening the enclosure.
The Safety Module also provides installation flexibility. One Safety Module offers wide amp range covering 1-100A applications in a single unit. And rejection kits are available to prevent overfusing 30A and 60A circuits. An optional internal safety barrier covers all energized parts to provide added protection against electrical hazards even with the enclosed door open.
UL Listed and CSA Certified, the Safety Module features the Bussmann CUBEFuse(TM). This finger-safe, time-delay, current-limiting fuse has the best permanent replacement fuse indication technology available. Indication is either black (replace) or white (good). There's no in-between, no second-guessing. Finger-safe test points allow for testing voltage without exposure to energized conductors.
The Safety Module has a positive opening operation with contacts opened and closed by a driven mechanism (not springs) so the switch cannot reach the off position unless the contacts are truly open. They are available in NEMA 1, 3R, 12 and 4X enclosure styles.
