NEW Purifier® Digital Delta® Series Safety Cabinet Allows User to Program Systems for Automatic Activation
Labconco Corporation, Kansas City, Missouri introduces the NEW Purifier® Digital Delta® Series Safety Cabinets; which provide personnel, product and environmental protection and are suitable for work with agents that require Biosafety level 1, 2 or 3 containment. These cabinets have an exclusive Smart-Start(TM) System that allows the user to program start up and shut down procedures such as the activation or deactivation of the blower, light, electrical receptacles, and fluorescent or UV lights. The operation automatically starts when the sash is opened and stops when the sash is closed.
An LCD on the right hand of the interior sidewall displays inflow and downflow velocities, diagnostics, alarm messages and programming prompts. The display is within the user's line of sight for ergonomic comfort and constructed of stainless steel and glass for easy decontamination. A touchpad on the right side post allows the user activate the blower, light, electrical receptacles, timer, audible alarm mute, menu and display panel and up/down menu.
The RS 232 port connects to a user-supplied personal computer; and the RS 485 port communicates with the building monitoring system.
