Trim Nozzles

Lechler, Inc. produces a ruby orifice solid stream (or needle jet) trim nozzle for create columnar streams of fluid under either low (100 psi) or high pressure (1000 psi or more). This nozzle is widely used in trimming wet paper to a uniform width in the wet end of paper machines in paper mills but can be used anywhere that a potent solid stream is required for maximum impact or to trim a pliable target. The trim nozzle's housing is made of 316Ti stainless steel while the orifice is ruby, which provides amazing spray precision, performance consistency, and long operational life. Second only to a diamond in wear resistance, ruby will outlast stainless steel, glass, and ceramic as an orifice material. An optional strainer is available for this nozzle which can protect against clogging. This is particularly useful during paper making where "white water", which is stray fiber or loose bits of debris in the recycled liquid supply, is part of the process. The trim nozzle has a 1/8" connection and comes in 8 different orifice sizes.
