ATCO Precision Tool's Punch Mate No. 1, the most popular punch and EDM electrode rotary grinding fixture, for even greater versatility is now available with an attached sine plate base. As with all of ATCO's sine plates, the Sine Punch-Mate No. 1 comes with our exclusive locking hinge, designed to automatically draw down on the gage blocks, eliminating the need for any locking straps or bars that cause accuracy distortions. Engineered to be the ultimate compact rotary tool fixture for grinding concave or convex radii on center or eccentric for various shaped punches or electrodes up to 1½" in diameter, the Punch-Mate No. 1 continues to be hand-crafted in the USA by ATCO from hardened tool steel for longer lasting trouble-free quality and accuracy. With a preload ball and race bearing design, it features concentricity within .0001 inch; squareness and parallelism within .0002 inch; twenty-four 15 degree indexing divisions with 10 second accuracy, and a 2.1000 inch sine bar for angles between the index divisions; two adjustable arc stops; 1 1/8 inch through hole; 3½ inch diameter face plate; an adjustable vee-block; and with all internal moving parts protected with a grinding dust seal. The sine plate base comes standard to within 0002 inch accuracy, and can be ordered to either Commercial or Laboratory Grade standards for up to .000030 inch accuracy.
