Rogers , CT - Rogers Corporation's High Performance Foams Division will be highlighting two key BISCO Silicone materials at the upcoming SAMPE (Society for Advancement of Material & Process Engineering) conference and exhibition, May 19-21, 2009, in Baltimore, MD.

Rogers (Booth #1035) will be exhibiting its BISCO L3-A and HT-200 silicone materials in addition to its full line of reliable flame resistant cellular, solid and specialty silicone solutions including materials to meet Boeing (BMS1-68), Airbus (ABS5026, ABS5006), and industry (AMS3195, FAR25.853, FAR25.856) specifications.

BISCO L3-A cellular foam is available in forms to meet both FAR25.853(a) and FAR25.856(a), and features low weight and superior vibration mitigation properties. The L3-A material's low weight, low flame and low smoke material properties make it an ideal solution in aircraft interiors applications for vibration isolation, gasketing, sealing and gap filling.

BISCO HT-200 is a solid silicone acoustic barrier solution used for aircraft insulation. HT-200 is available in forms to meet FAR25.856(a), and exhibits excellent acoustic properties to prevent sound penetration into the aircraft cabin.

Also of note, Rogers Corporation's BISCO Silicones facility in Carol Stream, IL recently completed the AS9100 Quality Management System certification.
