VXI Technology Announces Latching µWave Relay Family
Today VXI Technology introduced the launch of a suite of latching microwave relay modules further extending their SMPIPII(TM) product offering. The suite features microwave technology that has been pioneered to offer high-density, modularity, and cost benefits.
The family includes:
SM7001L (4) SP6T Latching Self-terminated 20GHz Relays
SM7012L (12) SPDT Latching Self-terminated 20GHz Relays
SM7013L (3) SPDT Latching Self-terminated 20GHz Relays
SM7016L (6) SPDT Latching Self-terminated 20GHz Relays
The extensive control and interface features of the SMIPII(TM) family have enabled a modular off-the-shelf approach for microwave switching applications, without sacrificing critical performance requirements. This will allow customers the flexibility of reusing their designs and products in future applications.
Each individual relay provides superior RF performance, and includes isolated indicator circuitry permitting the relay status to be directly accessed. Additionally, each module also includes 32 SPST relays to control other microwave components such as attenuators or splitters. Non-latching versions of this series are also available.
