Original Press Release:
"Intelligent Control" Relays Accept Variety of Input Signals
FALL RIVER, MA -HBControls announces a new line of Intelligent Control Solid State Relay Assemblies that can interface with a variety of control input signals. Rated for loads up to 100 A at a maximum 40° C ambient temperature, nine different models are available to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications. The assemblies consist of Solid State Relays attached to anodized aluminum heat sinks, appropriately engineered to assure reliable operation at rated power levels and temperatures.
A DIP switch on each unit allows the following selection of control inputs: 1-135 ohms, 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, or from potentiometer command signals. Four cycle times are available: 200 milliseconds, 1 second, 10 seconds, and 100 seconds. Models are available for the following line voltages: 24-280 VDC, 48-530 VAC, and 48-530 VDC. Transient overvoltage protection is provided at either 600 Vpk or 1200 Vpk. Finger-safe covers, DIN rail mounts, and integral LED status indication are standard.
Solid State Relays have been proven in food processing, semiconductor manufacturing, plastic molding, and many other applications for the control of heaters, pumps, motors, solenoids, power contactors, lighting, and other equipment.
