South El Monte, CA -June 5, 2003 - Featuring a snap-action design and versatile legend display options, Electro-Mech Components, Inc. introduces the new SW44188 SPST Push-Button Momentary Switch Series. Originally designed for cockpit trainers and simulators, the new switch is suitable for use in a variety of commercial, military and industrial applications.
The SW44188 Series switch (SPST, 1 N.O.) incorporates a lusterless black lens finish for high symbol contrast, enhancing a variety of horizontal lens configurations. Standard display legends are available in a 0.150" high (standard) type in standard colors. Custom legends are also available, offering both vital signal and indicator legend readability, and designer enhancements for more attractive displays on control panels or on portable test and instrumentation equipment. Display lighting includes a choice of either T-1 ¾ (5mm) midget flange based LED or incandescent bulb.
Switch ratings are 30 VDC or 115 VAC, 1A resistive, 0.25A inductive. Contacts are silver plated. Standard terminals are EMC solder lug (PCB pin or harness interfaces available). Other features include an operating pressure of 24 oz (±8 oz.), plunger travel of approximately 0.070" minimum, and a rated switch life of 50,000 minimum actuations at rated load.
