Original Press Release:

One Time Use Pressure Relief for Compressed Gas Safety

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (May 29, 2003) - Oklahoma Safety Equipment Co., Inc. (Oseco), a leader in pressure relief innovation, is pleased to introduce the new One Time Crimped (OTC) pressure relief device. The OTC joins the traditional One Time Unit (OTU) in Oseco's line of low-cost, single-use assemblies for compressed gas applications.

Like the OTU, the new OTC is a one-piece sealed pressure relief assembly which is replaced in its entirety in the event of an overpressure. However, the OTC's unique design withstands higher operating ratios than traditional one-time-use assemblies. In addition to delivering superior performance, the OTC is more compact and cost-effective than existing products.

The OTC's brass body is designed for use with Oseco's PRO series rupture disks which are available in nickel and 316 stainless steel. Each unit is custom manufactured according to the
disk material, burst pressure and temperature requirements specified by the customer and leak tested, bubble-tight, before shipping.

A new four-page brochure providing detailed technical information about Oseco's OTC and OTU products is now available. This brochure covers manufacturing range, dimensions, minimum and maximum burst pressures and ordering information. A free copy of the brochure may be requested by calling 800-395-DISK or via e-mail at info@oseco.com. For additional information about any of Oseco's pressure relief solutions visit www.oseco.com.
