PC/USB Pressure Measurement System
Large and expensive data acquisition systems are no longer required for fast accurate data measurement and acquisition. Now, the innovative RAD3200 (Remote A/D) and ZOC pressure scanners provide high performance with most PCs or Laptops utilizing the worldwide-accepted USB communication. The RAD3200 Digital data output is converted into Engineering Units in the PC, utilizing Scanivalve's user-friendly executable software.
For small test requirements with low channel requirements, the RAD3200 can be minimal size. When a high (512Px) channel count is required, the modular RAD3200 can easily be expanded in the field with up to eight (8) each Remote A/Ds plugged into the RADBASE. Each A/D supports one 16, 32, or 64 channel ZOC pressure scanner or one ZOC Electrical Input module. The RAD3200 and ZOC pressure scanners are compact and typically located inside a wind tunnel model, or other space limited locations in close proximity to the ZOC pressure scanners. Using an extender, the USB cabling from the RAD3200 to the PC can be up to 150 feet in length.
Available pressure ranges are from 10 inch H2O full scale up to 750 PSI full scale. Maximum sampling and throughput speeds are 250-500 Hz per channel per second.
