Clamp Style Rail Stops Fit Shafts on Support Rails
A new line of positive end stops and mounting devices for rail-mounted shafts where conventional shaft collars do not apply is being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corporation of Wilmington, Massachusetts.
Stafford Rail Clamps function as a positive mechanical end stop or a mounting block on rail-mounted shafts. Simple to use, these clamp style devices just slide over the end of both the shaft and support rail or come apart to permit assembly anywhere on the shaft.
Machined from steel with a black oxide finish, Stafford Rail Clamps are offered in six sizes from ½" to 1-½" bore and adjust using a hex wrench. They can also include drilled and tapped holes for mounting components and can be made from stainless steel as a special.
