High Precision Positioning Stages for Medical Applications are Patient Friendly and Cost Effective
Deer Park, NY- High Precision X, Y, Z, and C (theta) Positioning Stages, designed for Medical Applications, are available from Nutec Components, Inc. These quiet, high performance stages are ideal for: Protein research, crystalography, HTS (high throughput screening or DNA sequencing), microbiology, cancer research, patient care, patient handling, and lab automation and robotics.
Typical of all Nutec's stages and components, including Linear positioning stages (X, Y, and Z axis stages), gantries, rotary stages, multi-axis tilting stages, elevator stages, open frame stages, controllers, servo motors, and complete positioning systems, are high reliability, very high resolution (to nanometers and picometers), and cost effectiveness. Other attributes include: Clean room compatibility (to class 100), very low noise, vacuum compatibility (to 10-7 Torr), radiation hardened, robust construction, and high (24/7) duty cyces.
Linear stages are available with linear motors, screw drives, or belt drives with standard travel to 2 meters, payloads to 500 kg. and speeds to 3 m/sec. Rotary stages with direct drive brushless motors turn at up to 800 RPM's (high resolution) and up to 1200 RPM's (low resolution). Standard resolution is to .36 arc/sec and concentricity is less than 3 microns. The tilt stage is typically used for alignment purposes up to +/- 5° and the resolution is .36 arc/sec.
