Position Transducers utilize inductive-resistive technology.

Press Release Summary:

Series TLI non-contacting transducers are integrated directly into hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Indres technology ensures proper operation in presence of static magnetic fields and dynamic and static electric fields. Sealed to IP67, units withstand temperature from -40 to +105°C and peak pressure of 60 MPa. They are available in stroke lengths from 50-1,000 mm with operating speeds to 10 m/s, 0.15% accuracy, and better than 0.01 mm resolution.

New Non-Contacting Transducers for Internal Applications

Southborough, MA... Designed to be integrated directly into hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, Novotechnik's TLI series of non-contacting position transducers utilizes the company's proprietary Indres (inductive-resistive) technology. This new non-contacting technology ensures proper operation even in the presence of static magnetic fields and dynamic and static electric fields to deliver consistently accurate measurements.

Sealed to IP67, the TLI Series is engineered to withstand harsh environment effects found in hydraulic and pneumatic applications with these specs: temperature -40 to +105°C, peak pressure 60 MPa, shock 50 g and vibration 6 g.

Available in stroke lengths from 50 to 1,000 mm, with optional plug or cable connection, the TLI Series features modular construction to provide customer specific terminal flanges and mounting variations needed in many internal applications. With operating speeds up to 10 m/s, the TLI Series delivers accuracy to 0.15% with resolution better than 0.01 mm.
