New Ophir Photodiode Head Fits Into Tight Locations

Danvers, MA February, 2003...Ophir Optronics, Inc. announces the introduction of the Model PD300-TP thin profile, laser power measuring head, equivalent in performance to the popular PD300 Photodiode head. The Model PD300-TP offers a thickness of just 4mm. The PD300-TP is able to make power measurements on cw lasers in very tight spaces.

The head has a sliding filter to measure from 50pW up to 300mW and also contains a measurement in dBm. The PD300-TP has a spectral range of 350 - 1100nm, and is capable of ±3% accuracy within a spectral response range of 400 - 950nm. All models have wavelength calibration built into the system.

The PD300-TP is designed to quickly connect with Ophir's Model ORION, NOVA and Laserstar displays and is part of the "Smart Head" family of Photodiode. The PD300-TP operates either on a stand or can be held by hand.
