PACK EXPO 2012: Where Packaging Comes Together with H.B. Fuller Adhesives

ST. PAUL, Minn. - H.B. Fuller Company (NYSE: FUL), a leading global adhesives provider, will show the packaging industry how its game-changing solutions and deep understanding of customer needs make packaging come together-smarter, cheaper and easier - at PACK EXPO 2012 in Chicago October 28-31. H.B. Fuller will showcase in Booth S771 its proven flagship adhesive technologies alongside new innovations for end-of-line case and carton sealing, flexible packaging converting, container labeling, retail-ready packaging applications, packaging reinforcement and opening solutions.

Case and Carton Sealing
Featuring two new advances, H.B. Fuller will demonstrate its Liquamelt(®) Adhesive System--the packaging industry's first cool-on-delivery, hot-on-demand liquid rapid set adhesive and equipment technology. Now offering bulk feed and gateway I/O options, the Liquamelt Adhesive System is a compelling alternative to traditional hot melt adhesive sealing that helps the industry meets its sustainability and maintenance savings goals. H.B. Fuller will present the Liquamelt Adhesive System on the Innovation Stage at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30.

Also featured, Clean Melt(®) low temperature case and carton hot melts that combine high mileage, low maintenance and powerful adhesion to deliver a well-balanced cost/benefit ratio.

Flexible Packaging Converting
H.B. Fuller is introducing a new Flextra(®) laminating adhesive for large pouches at PACK EXPO 2012. These groundbreaking solvent-free adhesives help toughen the overall structure of large pouches, thereby allowing converters to increase pouch size and reduce supply chain damage. H.B. Fuller will also present this latest addition to the high performance Flextra family of solvent-free, solvent-based and water-based adhesives and primers on the Innovation Stage at 12:15 p.m. on Monday, October 29.

Container Labeling
H.B. Fuller will introduce Swift(®)tak adhesive for container labeling, a new polymer-based adhesive that bonds substrates at all speeds and with all known paper types to satisfy both operational and procurement demands. The Swift(®)tak brand joins H.B. Fuller's established Clarity® hot melt and LiquiLoc(®) water-based container labeling adhesives that deliver adhesion and strength required for challenging end-use applications.

Retail Ready, Packaging Reinforcement and Opening Solutions Adalis Corporation's Sesame(®)tape and Open-Sesame® system complement the innovative adhesive technologies on display in H.B. Fuller's booth this year. A new high modulus Sesame tape--an ultra-strong tape reinforcement technology that helps improve produce box life while helping to save costs and at the same time helping meet sustainability goals--will debut at PACK EXPO 2012. This addition to the Sesame tape family performs in even cold and wet environments and joins other proven Adalis tape technologies to deliver reinforcement solutions that reduce both carton failure and weight. The Open-Sesame retail packaging opening system allows shipping containers to be used as attractive brand displays and open easily at the point of display to shorten re-stocking time.
