GRAND RAPIDS, MI-(September 12, 2002)- Siemens Dematic, Rapistan Material Handling Automation Division, introduces Easy Step(TM) Paced Work Platforms, a line of floor-mounted or recessed belt conveyors engineered to convey production workers, their tools and supplies, at the same speed as the main assembly line. Applications include large scale and high volume assembly lines like automotive assembly, as well as assembly applications to convey trucking, construction, and farm equipment.

Standard Easy Step(TM) features include a heavy-duty steel frame and pulleys, adjustable/cushioned floor supports, easily accessible drive unit, debris catch basin, plastic edge guards and vulcanized track guides, as well as an automatic, boot activated safety stop.

Units are available with thick, oil resistant, non-slip belt materials matched to your application. Standard sizes range from 18" to 102" wide, 10' to 72' long, and 7.5" in height. Additionally, sizes can be customized to meet individual needs.
