New Pro Series Pocket Reference Oscillator from Crystek Corporation Integrates HCMOS Oscillator in SMA Housing

Fort Myers, FL, December 2007 - Crystek introduces the new Pocket Reference Oscillator (PRO Series), the industry's first frequency control product to integrate a complete HCMOS crystal clock oscillator in a rugged SMA housing. Connecting the PRO Series' female SMA side to +3.3Vdc produces a clean, low-jitter signal from the male SMA side. In effect, each PRO is a fixed frequency portable crystal generator.

Crystek's PRO Series oscillator offers frequency stability of ±25ppm over 0°C to 70°C (operating temperature range rated at -40° to 85°C; storage -45° to 90°C). PRO Series oscillators are available off-the-shelf in frequencies from 4 MHz to 125 MHz.

The PRO Series of oscillators is well-suited for laboratory and test instrument use.

The PRO Series is priced at approximately $50 each in 1- to 5-piece quantities. Product is currently available from Crystek's stocking distributors, Allied, Digi-Key and Mouser. For additional pricing details, contact Crystek Corporation.
