New Starrett Horizontal Benchtop Measuring Projector Delivers Exceptional Performance at a Competitive Price
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, IMTS '04, Booth No. D-4327 (September 8, 2004) The L. S. Starrett Company has introduced a new large-screen Benchtop Optical Measuring Projector, the HE400 MkIII. The competitively priced HE400 MkIII provides a combination of excellent image quality coupled with a full range of features.
The HE400 MkIII produces bright, sharp images on a large, fully usable 16" screen featuring an integral hood, precision crosslines, and calibration markings. Fan-cooled halogen profile illumination with high/low intensity allows the user to adjust screen lighting. Magnifications of 10x, 20x, 25x, 31.25x, 50x to 100x are available. The unit is also fitted with a choice of several industry-leading Quadra-Chek Digital Readout Systems, making it easy to use and able to satisfy the most complex measurement requirements.
This full-featured measuring projector has a 10" x 4" measuring travel, a high precision workstage with an 18.9" x 4.7" top plate, and will accommodate up to 55 lbs. with negligible deflection. The workstage is mounted on a sturdy cast iron subframe to provide absolute stability, especially when measuring of larger or heavier components.
The HE400 MkIII also comes equipped with fully retractable duplex fiberoptic surface illumination, fine adjustment on all axes, a digital protractor for accurate angular measurements, Heidenhain .00005" resolution scales, and a lamphouse-mounted helix adjustment for accurate threadform inspection.
