New Wiegmann ULTIMATE Enclosures with Gland Plates
South Bend, Indiana January 7, 2020 -Wiegmann introduces a line of electrical enclosures with removable Gland Plates. These enclosures protect electrical components in harsh, dirty environments. Wiegmann, part of Hubbell Commercial Construction, provides innovative electrical products to OEM, industrial and commercial markets.
Wiegmann's new wall-mount enclosures, part of the ULTIMATE series, feature Gland Plates on the bottom side. Fully gasketed, these removable plates make it easier to drill holes without disturbing the integrity of the enclosure. The plates are interchangeable. They ship with enclosures, and are also available separately. The NEMA 4 rated enclosures are cULus Listed.
The Wiegmann Ultimate series electrical enclosures utilize a versatile design that makes them easy to modify or upgrade. Enclosure features include continuous welded seams, poured-in-place gaskets, collar studs for mounting optional back panels, interchangeable plates and doors.
Fifteen sizes of the new Gland Plate enclosures are available. They are for use where dirt, dust, oil, water and other contaminants are present. Typical applications include municipal infrastructure, water treatment plants and other industrial or commercial facilities.
