Original Press Release:

Camseal® In-Line Renewable Ball Valves Provide Savings in Labor, Materials and Downtime

Enfield, CT USA (1/5/21)--Camseal high-quality, metal-seated, in-line renewable, top-entry forged severe service ball valves are available in ½” through 4” sizes with socket weld, butt weld and flanged ends. Supplied in pressure classes from ASME 900 through 4500, Camseal ball valves provide significant savings in labor, materials and downtime. In-line renewability is typically accomplished within 30 minutes. The cartridge is conveniently removed for in-situ parts replacement and reassembly. No valve removal, welding and PWHT are required, which is especially important with F91 valves.

Camseal ball valves feature zero body, seat and stem leakage on manual and actuated valves. Each valve is manufactured in the USA to rigorous quality standards, including ASME, ISO 9001 and CE. Canadian Registration Numbers are available for all provinces. As a result, Camseal ball valves offer exceptionally reliable and long service life far beyond industry standards. Fire-safe, N stamp, TPD-1-2013 compliant, and full port valves are also available. Standard materials include carbon steel SA-105, stainless steel SA-182-F316/F316L, and alloys in SA-182-F22 and SA-182-F91/92. Other materials are available upon request.

The newly designed Stem Position Indicator Disc improves the accuracy of the stem and ball alignment into the valve seat. This is important in severe applications such as steam, where positive, sustainable shut-off is critical and even slight misalignments will compromise the ball/seat sealing integrity. The indicator is self-securing to the stem. No set screws are required. The indicator disc eliminates the need for features that have traditionally been used with less accuracy. This custom-engineered disc design has shown an alignment improvement of up to 3.5 times over conventional methods of position indication due to the minimization of part tolerance stack-up.
