Multiaxial Inclinometers feature shock-proof sensor cells.
Press Release Summary:
Incorporating capacitive sensor cells based on MEMS technology, ACCELENS series covers measuring range of ±80° while providing 0.09° resolution. Devices have CANopen interface and, depending on model, enable 360° measurements of one or multiple axes besides measuring angle inclinations. Shock-proof up to 20,000 G, sensor cells ensure constant precision throughout -40 to +85°C range. Integrated ADC allows inclinometers to detect up to 150 reading points/sec.

Shock-Proof Inclinometers
POSITAL presents the new ACCELENS series of robust, multiaxial inclinometers featuring capacitive sensor cells based on MEMS technology (micro-electro-mechanical systems). The devices cover a measuring range of ±80°, providing a 0.09° resolution. Depending on the model, they also enable 360° measurements of one or multiple axes besides measuring angle inclinations.
The sensor cells are highly shock-proof (up to 20,000 G) and ensure constant precision throughout the whole temperature range (-40...+85 °C). An integrated A/D converter allows the inclinometers to detect up to 150 reading points per second. Thereby, vibrations and shocks are filtered and the settling time is minimized. ACCELENS inclinometers are available with a proven aluminum housing. A cost-efficient plastic version which measures just 42 x 50 x 13 mm is currently being developed. A certified CANopen interface enables integration into automation environments.
