Motorized Force Tester
Mark-10 introduces their new Motorized Force Tester Model ESMH, a 50 lb capacity horizontal test stand designed for tension, compression, and friction testing. A smooth top surface makes this tester particularly well suited for coefficient of friction testing. Other typical applications include the testing of sealed pouches, fabrics, tubing, sutures, and many other items in virtually every industry.
The tester features integrated limit switches for repetitive testing or other tests where travel limits are required. A digital travel display, useful for such applications as spring and elongation testing, is available.
The tester's modular design allows for a wide range of testing setups, while a metal enclosure helps prevent internal damage from spillage or dust. The ESMH uses a remote control unit, distancing the operator from the test for added safety. Tests can be performed at a broad speed range of 0.2 - 50 in/min, making it appropriate for many different requirements. Stepper motor control eliminates speed variation with load, for accurate and repeatable results.
The ESMH is compatible with Mark-10 digital force gauges and gripping fixtures.
