METABO'S COMPLETE LINE OF NEW BURNISHER ACCESSORIES PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FINISHES ON A WIDER VARIETY OF SURFACES
WEST CHESTER, Pa., April 2007 -- Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, now offers a complete line of burnisher accessories for Metabo's SE12-115 burnisher. With these additional accessories, the burnisher can work on a wider variety of materials and provide more finishes than before.
Ideal for use on various metals, woods and plastics, the durable sanding and abrasive belts, wire wheels, burnishing rings and flap wheels are long-lasting and can remove scratches, stains and rust, as well as be used for sanding, smoothing, buffing, tarnishing and polishing.
The burnisher comes equipped to process stainless steel to a #4 finish and includes an expansion roll, three 80-grit sanding belts, an 80-grit flap wheel, a two-piece interleaved flap wheel and a non-woven abrasive flap wheel. Additional accessories available for individual purchase include a rubberized silicon carbine roll that removes scratches on metals and leaves a hazy polish finish; a stripping wheel that removes paint and rust from wooden surfaces and scale from metal finishes; steel wire wheels to eliminate rust, stains and paint from metal; and a plastic embedded abrasive wheel for graining metals, debarking log wood or adding decorative finishes to wood. Three different burnishing rings for pre-polishing, polishing and glossing metals are also part of the line and should be used in conjunction with Metabo's polishing paste stick, which achieves a high-gloss polish.
Metabo's burnisher accessory line is complete with the addition of a belt driver that drives any of the three types of belts provided by Metabo for sanding, polishing, deburring or finishing bars, pipes and tubes. The belts' button-hole closures also make working with closed pipes construction possible.
