The University of San Francisco UCSF and UC Berkley have developed a capstone program for their Master's students called the Masters of Transitional Medicine. The Master of Translational Medicine (MTM) program links the Department of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley with the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences at UCSF, and is designed to train students in applying translational research and engineering approaches to solve fundamental problems in healthcare delivery.
