Korenix JetNet 4000 Series, a web-managed redundant Ethernet rail switch, is specially designed for industrial applications. JetNet 4000 Series possess powerful features, such as Super Ring, port VLAN, Quality of Service (QoS), IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) Snooping and failure alarm by relay output.
JetNet 4000 provides powerful device redundancy, including a redundant Ethernet network (Super Ring), and redundant power inputs. The redundant DC power inputs can be connected to DC power sources simultaneously. With Super Ring (Self-healing Redundant) technology, JetNet 4000 provides you with a self-recovery mechanism. If any segment of your primary communication path is broken or disconnected, Super Ring technology allows JetNet 4000 to self-reconfigure and to provide a redundant path in the network. With the recovery time of less than 300ms, Super Ring outperforms standard Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) or Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP). With the recovery time that fast, you won't even notice a network failure. Super Ring technology provides you with a reliable network. With the self-healing and redundant capabilities, you can be assured that your automation system will operate nonstop.
With a web-based configuration interface, JetNet 4000 ensures an easy installation and management of your switches. To meet the requirements of your harsh environment, JetNet 4000 uses a robust aluminum case, offering IP30 standard protection. JetNet 4000 Series has optional 100Base-FX ports for extending communication distance from 2,000 meters (multi-mode fiber) to 30 Km (single-mode fiber).
