New Magnetic Drive Pump Series From Little Giant Features Stainless Steel Volute, Housing And Impeller
Little Giant Pump Company has introduced the TE-7-MD-SST, a magnetic drive pump featuring stainless steel volute, housing, and impeller for excellent chemical resistance. The TE-7-MD is the most powerful pump in the company's MD-SST Series, which features leakproof, seal-less magnetic drives, and are designed for in-line, non-submersible use.
The pump also features ceramic shaft and thrust washers of 99.5% pure alumina for excellent wear and trouble-free service. Pumping heads are easily rotated, cleaned or serviced with no special tools required, and the spindle shaft is supported at both ends to prevent impeller damage during start-up and stop.
The motor is thermally protected, totally enclosed, and fan cooled, and is available in 3/4 or 1 1/2 horsepower. The 3/4HP model is for use with specific gravities up to 1.1; the 1 1/2HP motor is recommended for specific gravities of 1.2 to 1.5. The TE-7-MD-SST can pump up to 52.5 gallons per minute, liquid temperatures up to 250°F, and line pressures up to 150 psi. Shut off head is 55.7 feet. The pump motor includes a conduit box, which must be field wired.
