Endevco Introduces Lightweight Model 61C i-TEDS Accelerometer for General Purpose Vibration and Modal Studies

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. - July 1, 2002 - Endevco today introduced the Model 61C, a lightweight, piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics, which features IEEE P1451.4 Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS) capabilities. The Model 61C is available in a 100mV/g version, the 61C12, and a 1V/g version, the 61C13. Both offer exemplary resolution, dynamic range and frequency response, while maintaining excellent phase characteristics over the entire operating frequency range. With outstanding shock survivability, the Model 61C is capable of withstanding the rough environments of laboratory applications without sustaining internal damage.

The Model 61C can be mounted via adhesives, or optionally, Endevco's EZ-mount, a convenient mounting scheme that reduces setup time during installation and calibration. The accelerometer can be powered by any signal analyzer that features a 2 to 10 mA constant current supply.

The Model 61C features Endevco's PIEZITE® Type P-8 crystal element. Signal ground is isolated from the mounting surface. Endevco recommends Signal Conditioner Models 133, 2775B, 2792B, 2793, 4461B or OASIS 482A, 433 and 428 for use with this accelerometer.
