Level Switch interfaces with remote devices.

Press Release Summary:

LV10 Vertical Buoyancy Level Switch consists of float, magnet, reed switch, and baffle body which dampens turbulence and eliminates effects of switch chatter. It is designed for vertical installation inside tank with clean, non-coating, or scaling type liquids. Reed output provides switch interface with PLC, SCADA, or alarms. All-plastic construction features PP or optional PVDF wetted material. Sensor rating is NEMA 6 and accuracy is ±2 mm in water.

Vertical Buoyancy Float Level Switch Provide a Reliable Interface with Remote Devices such as a PLC, SCADA or Alarms

LOS ALAMITOS, CA (March 5, 2002) - Flowline's LV10 Vertical Buoyancy Level Switch is a reliable solution for a broad range of relatively clean, non-coating or scaling type liquids. Designed for vertical installation inside the tank, media examples include acetic acid, process water and solvents. The reed output provides a switch interface with remote devices such as a PLC, SCADA or alarms. All-plastic construction features PP or optional PVDF wetted material. Sensor rating is NEMA 6
(IP68). Accuracy is ±2 mm in water. Vertical buoyancy sensors are also available with the popular Switch Pak or Smart Pak mounting systems.

The LV10 consists of a float, magnet, reed switch and baffle body which dampens turbulence and eliminates the negative effects of switch chatter. When the probe is dry, the float rests on the bottom of the baffle body so that the magnet does
not influence the reed switch. As the probe becomes immersed in liquid, the float becomes buoyant and the magnet elevates, causing the reed switch to change state. The dynamically stabilized and weighted float resists process turbulence, while the baffle body dampens switch chatter caused by agitation.

Price for the LV10 Vertical Buoyancy Level Switch starts from $85 each with aggressive volume discounting. Delivery is from stock.
