Press Release – M.P. Electronics announces Panel Mount option for Level Probe Converter products
Within a very short time of the release of the Din-Rail mount Level Probe Converter (LPC420) and the Level Probe Converter with Relay outputs (LPC420R), our customers requested that we make this product available in a panel mount, or deadfront mount version.
Not only did we make these two products deadfront mountable, we modified the units in such a way as to be able to see the level information from both the front and the back of the unit. This unique feature has proven to be very popular.
The Level Probe Converter senses liquid level and provides a 4-20mA analog output for use by a pump controller or PLC to control liquid level. The unit monitors the ten electrodes on a Level Probe, and provides an analog signal that is proportional to level. The unit also provides 10 Relay Outputs with contacts that close as the liquid covers the respective Level Probe electrodes. The Relay Outputs may be used for pump control, level alarms or telemetry.
