Lead-Free Wave Solder System measures just over 8 ft long.

Press Release Summary:

Accommodating low- to mid-volume PCB assemblers, MT-300 is available for high-density through-hole soldering as well as SMT and mixed technology applications. Dual-wave design is complimented by transducer-controlled twin pump motors that ensure precise and uniform wave heights. Also included, adjustable titanium finger conveyor can transport boards from 1.2-11.8 in. wide. Solder pot, wave nozzles, and pumping system are all of corrosion-resistant titanium alloy.

Manncorp Designs Lead-Free, Small Footprint, Budget-Priced Wave Solder System

Designed and built to Manncorp's own specifications, the MT-300 brings a budget-priced lead-free wave soldering solution to low to mid-volume PCB assemblers. Just over 8-ft. long, it is also reportedly one of the smallest footprint wave machines in its class, yet the company claims it will equal the performance and precision of much larger systems for high-density through-hole soldering, as well as surface mount and mixed technology applications.

The MT-300's dual-wave design is enhanced by transducer-controlled twin pump motors that ensure precise and uniform wave heights. Also featured is an adjustable titanium finger conveyor capable of transporting boards from 1.2" (30mm) to 11.8" (300mm) wide, along with an automatic recirculating finger conveyor cleaner. Of robust construction, the solder pot, wave nozzles and pumping system are all of titanium alloy to resist corrosion from high-temperatures of lead-free solders. Since the system has a solder pot width of 300mm, it can handle most wave applications.

Based on favorable response from users, Manncorp CEO Henry Mann predicts strong sales for the machine. "The MT-300's design arose from industry demands for a space-saving lead-free wave machine with tight process controls and is also priced for tight budgets. At under $20K, we know we have what the market wants."
