Sirenza Microdevices Announces Production Release of a New High Linearity, 30 Watt LDMOS Transistor
BROOMFIELD, Colo., July 25 -- Sirenza Microdevices (NASDAQ:SMDI) today announced the production release of a new Laterally Diffused Metal Oxide Semiconductor (LDMOS) 30 Watt transistor. The SLD-3091FZ provides design versatility and excellent performance from 10-1600 MHz.
At 30W output power (915MHz), it delivers 18dB gain, 45 percent drain efficiency, and 28dBc 3rd order intermodulation products. The SLD-3091FZ is fabricated in Sirenza's proprietary high performance XeMOS II(TM) semiconductor process technology and is offered in a rugged, robust ceramic flanged package.
"The SLD-3091FZ is an excellent higher power addition to Sirenza's family of LDMOS discretes," stated Jeff Gudewicz, strategic business unit director for standard products. "It is ideal for RF power applications including base station driver and power amplifiers, high-reliability radios, and transmitters for HF, UHF, and VHF broadcast equipment."
