Broad Line Of Rohm And Haas Mor-Free Solventless Laminating Adhesives Featured At Pack Expo
Philadelphia, PA, July 30, 2004 - Rohm and Haas Company will feature at Pack Expo International in November their expanding line of Mor-Free solventless adhesives.
These solventless laminating adhesives include one of the most comprehensive offerings of low monomer solventless technology available in the packaging and converting market today. According to Rohm and Haas, the application spectrum with Mor-Free solventless adhesives ranges from film and aluminum foil laminations for general and medium performance, to complicated structures for hot fill, or even sterilization. "The Mor-Free ELM [Extremely Low Monomer] series technology offers a unique combination of performance and safety to converters and end-users," says Nancy Smith, Rohm and Haas technical marketing manager for laminating adhesives. "Environmentally friendly Mor-Free ELM adhesives, as well as the other adhesives in the Mor-Free line, achieve fast cure and rapid bond development at ambient temperatures and are custom formulated for long, stable pot life," adds Smith. Mor-Free solventless adhesives maintain an excellent profile on the coater and can be applied at the high speeds now possible with modern solventless laminating equipment.

In addition to their line of solventless adhesives that meet almost every requirement for performance and value, Rohm and Haas provides customers with access to a new, commercial-scale Comexi CL solventless laminator located at their Midwest Pilot Coating Center in Ringwood, Illinois. The Comexi coater can run up to 1200 feet per minute to simulate commercial applications for customers and is in almost constant use for product trial runs.
