Series of L-band Coaxial Resonator Oscillators Deliver Extremely Low Phase Noise for Satellite Communication Applications

SAN DIEGO, February 12, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. is proud to announce the introduction of their new series of lead free, RoHS compliant, single frequency coaxial resonator oscillators (CRO1520B-LF, CRO1740C-LF, CRO1800A-LF, CRO1860A-LF and CRO1920B-LF) in L band (1520MHz, 1740MHz, 1800MHz, 1860MHz and 1920MHz) offering extraordinary low phase noise performance of (avg) -118dBc/Hz @10kHz offset. Their unique design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of (avg) 5 MHz/V (typ) and each one of the VCOs covers the band between 0.5- 4.5 V. They are designed to deliver (avg) 3dBm output power (typ) at 5Vdc supply while drawing around 25mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85º C. These VCOs are ideally suited for applications that require linear tuning and low phase noise performance.
