Minneapolis, MN- TURCK Inc. announces a new addition to the eurofast® junction box product line, the Top Mount multibox®. These new 4 and 8-port fully potted junction boxes use the industry standard M12 connector for device wiring and an M23 connector for the quick disconnect homerun cable. Easy access to the top mount Homerun connector and the right angle keyway orientation of the eurofast (M12) cordsets offer a clean profile and efficient wire consolidation for sensors and other devices. Junction boxes offer a convenient way to maintain, identify and consolidate machine or panel wiring from multiple I/O points.
The Top Mount junction box is available in 4 or 8-ports and with a quick disconnect homerun receptacle or with an integral molded cable. Homerun connector options include 12-pin or 19-pin right angle or straight molded cordsets. Junction box wiring options include 4-pin single or 5-pin dual outputs per port and power and signal LEDs. Operating current is 4 Amps per port, 8 Amps total for the quick disconnect homerun cable style and 9 Amps total for molded homerun cable styles. Operating voltage is 10-48 VDC and the industrial nylon, fully encapsulated housings offer an IP 67 protection rating.
