Juki Announces Product Lineup for the IPC APEX EXPO


MORRISVILLE, NC -- Juki Automation Systems, Inc., a world-leading provider of automated assembly products and part of Juki Corporation, today announced its product lineup to be exhibited in Booth #513 at the upcoming IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place February 19-21, 2013 at the San Diego Convention Center in California.

On display will be a Juki turnkey SMT production line featuring a GL Fully Automatic Screen Printer, FX-3R high-speed chip shooter, KE3020V flexible mounter and RS1000 10 zone nitrogen reflow oven. All equipment in the line is support by Juki's experienced service group and comes standard with a three-year parts and one-year labor warranty as well as free 24-hour phone support, free unlimited training at a certified Juki facility and free software upgrades for the life of the equipment.

The line will be supported by Juki's IFS-X2 intelligent feeder platform that uses a patented, contactless, RFID smart feeder technology and traceability software as well as IS NPI+ software that converts CAD, Gerber, ASCii or centroid data to Juki format in seconds. The software eliminates dramatically increases efficiency vs. manual teaching, resulting in tremendous cost benefits. Additionally, NPI+ can adjust board origin, rotate data and panelize, allowing for jobs to be run quickly and effectively

Juki also will showcase its TTC (Track, Trace, and Control) software from Cogiscan and InSite(TM) and inForce(TM) Apps from AEGIS.

A KE-2080 flexible mounter will be on display, featuring a linear fluxer and new LNC60 high-resolution laser for on-the-fly laser centering, which results in high-speed, highly accurate placement. The system has a six-nozzle head with a placement range from 01005 (0402 metric) to 33.5 mm² and a rated IPC9860 speed of 15,400 CPH.

A JX Series LED and flexible mounter also will be on display at the show. The JX series of machines from Juki are excellent for use in LED production, NPI jobs and OEM production.

The new JM-10 Multitask Platform is a revolutionary new concept from Juki that allows the placement or insertion of both surface mount and through-hole components.

Juki will highlight its award-winning FSW620 dual pot selective solder system featuring the new 8" full wave. The FSW620 is the only machine in its class to offer up to four autonomous acting soldering nozzles, allowing the use of four different sizes and/or types of nozzles without changeover.

Introduced for the first time at the show, the ACS2000 intelligent automatic storage system for SMD features reel dimensions ranging from 7"H (8 to 16 mm) up to 13"H and 15"H (24 mm). As an added benefit, microprocessor trays can be stored in the automatic warehouse.
