Ardmore, Oklahoma, March, 2002 - Announced today by Slaughter Company is it's new stand alone Insulation Resistance tester. The model 2205 Insulation Resistance tester is a fully microprocessor-controlled digital instrument providing measurements up to 200 gigohms at voltages up to 1000 Volts DC.
The 2205 is designed for applications requiring Insulation Resistance testing at much higher values. It incorporates the same technology found on Slaughter's microprocessor controlled
Hipot testers, providing technologically advanced and safe testing at a low cost. The 2205 provides an easy-to-read LED display and a programmable limit for ease of use. Features
also include PLC remote control, which provides inputs and outputs for remote testing and a tamper resistant front panel design, which prevents operators from inadvertently modifying
test parameters. Additionally, front panel calibration allows annual calibrations to be performed safely and efficiently without opening the instrument. Together these operator
friendly features provide safe and reliable production line testing.
