Fowler New Measuring Instruments To Be Shown At SME Eastec 2002 Exposition


Newton, Massachusetts, February 14, 2001 - Among its broad line of measuring instruments, Fred V. Fowler Company will show improved height gage and digital levels at booth #5531 during the SME Eastec 2002 Exposition being held May 21-23 in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

For its Z-Cal 600 XT Height Gage, manufactured by Sylvac in Switzerland, a new two-dimensional (X-Y) software capability has been added. This instrument has a 24" range with Sylvac's patented measuring system. Requiring a low measuring force and having motorized movement, the Z-Cal 600 XT height gage features full numeric keypad and an air-bearing base.

An improved Wyler Radio Module wireless system for the popular Minilevel/Levelmeter NT 2000 is also being shown. It provides error-free data transmission over long distances without the
encumbrance of connecting cables. This allows measurement of very big structures such as large machine tools, surface plates and even civil engineering projects.
