Ultraflex Power Technologies' Family of Induction Heating Systems Show Effectiveness for Nanoparticle Research
Ronkonkoma, NY: In recent testing, Ultraflex Power Technologies utilized their nano-llite UPT-n2 System to successfully heat a vial containing nanoparticles to 60°C.  The testing was part of evaluations for a researcher, who will be using the system for both in vivo and in vitro experiments for heating cancer cells by magnetite nanoparticles. http://www.ultraflexpower.com/induction-heating-of-nanoparticles/
Ultraflex Power Technologies has a family of induction heating systems being offered for nanoparticle research. The original system, the UPT-n5, has 5 kW of power and operates with frequencies from 50 to 450 kHz. The UPT-n2 is a lower power 2 kW system with frequencies from 50 - 250 kHz. They are also introducing the UPT-n3, a 3 kW system with frequencies from 30 – 300 kHz.
Ultraflex has also developed custom coils exclusively for nanoparticle research. There coils have been designed to optimize the magnetic field strength, the key parameter for heating nanoparticles. Their proprietary tools also enable Ultraflex to provide support to researchers whose unique coil requirements require a custom coil solution.
