I/O Modules, Controller operate in harsh environments.

Press Release Summary:

With 5g vibration resistance and -40 to +70°C operating range, PFC200 controller is available in several harsh environment XTR variants. Various communication interfaces – Ethernet, RS-232/RS-485, CAN, CANopen, and PROFIBUS-DP-Slave interfaces – are available, and DNP3, IEC 61850 and IEC 60870 protocols support use as Smart Grid controller. Also, available, 3-phase power measurement modules help reduce energy consumption by monitoring total power consumption, power factors, harmonics, and more.

Original Press Release:

New Additions to WAGO's XTR Line of Harsh Environment (-40 °C to 70 °C Extreme Temperature and 5g Vibration Resistance) I/O

GERMANTOWN, WI – New additions to WAGO’s XTR line of harsh environment (-40 °C to 70 °C extreme temperature and 5g vibration resistance) I/O, provide added functionality, delivering Performance Class PLCs, Smart Grid technology and energy monitoring.

The compact and powerful PFC200 controller is now available in several new harsh environment XTR variants. Featuring modules with:

Varying communication interfaces: Ethernet, RS-232/RS-485, CAN, CANopen, and PROFIBUS-DP-Slave interfaces.

DNP3, IEC 61850 and IEC 60870 protocols supporting use as a Smart Grid controller

New 3-Phase Power Measurement Modules expand the application range of the XTR with modules to help reduce energy consumption by monitoring total power consumption, power factors, harmonics and more.

Like all modules in the XTR Series the new variants combine the benefits of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM with the ability to operate in the harshest environmental conditions making the XTR ideal for oil and gas, renewable energy, substations, ship building and railway applications.
