New Hydraulic Lift Base Stands Increase Flexibility in Lab Design
Labconco Corporation, Kansas City, Missouri, offers the NEW Hydraulic Lift Adjustable Height Base Stands that increase the flexibility of your laboratory by allowing multiple users access to common pieces of laboratory equipment. When equipped with a flat work surface, the stand can be used as an adjustable laboratory table.
This new line of base stands complements Labconco's full line of laboratory equipment, including Protector® Laboratory Fume Hoods, Purifier® Delta® Series Biological Safety Cabinets, and Paramount® Filtered Enclosures. Models for use with biological safety cabinets are NSF listed, passing standard tests for product tipping and stability.
The Americans with Disabilities Act established guidelines for the design of new laboratories as well as recommendations for existing labs. Labconco's Hydraulic Lift Adjustable Height Base Stands put the focus on the equipment adjusting to each individual user, rather than the user adjusting to the equipment. The base stands are available with manual hand-crank or electric up/down switch.
These stands may be equipped with casters. The mobility of these base stands allows a user to "store" equipment away until it is needed for a particular use.
