Permabond Introduces One Part Hybrid Technology For Trailer Panel / Roof Bonding Process

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Permabond introduces PERMABOND® HT20, a one-part moisture cure hybrid adhesive for transportation body assembly, providing a high instant tack ideal for securing side and roof panels without fasteners. Panels can be aligned even
after initial tack, and surface preparation is minimal.

PERMABOND HT20 has 500% elongation that allows the adhesive to absorb energies created by trailer racking, thus alleviating the stress on the actual bond. It is this high degree of flexibility plus a secure bond to most materials and a low shrink rate that
provide long-term durability of the bonded panels.

HT20 has no odor, isocyanates or solvents, and is 100% VOC compliant providing a safe work environment. HT20 reduces costs by eliminating scratched panels, minimizing surface preparation time and increasing production throughput and reduces the cost per linear foot by up to 50%, compared to other panel bonding methods.
