Greenlee to Show Application-Specific Diamond Tooling at IMTS

Greenlee Diamond Tool, a DoALL family company, will show a wide variety of application-specific diamond tooling in the North Building Booth B-7301 at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, Illinois on September 8-13, 2008.

Known for their ability to work with manufacturers in the development and production of unique diamond and CBN products for specific applications; Greenlee Diamond Tool will show a number of products that showcase their capabilities. Products include diamond wheels that improve material removal rates, reduce machine cycles times and significantly reduce costs when grinding round tools on CNC equipment, single-layer direct electroplated wheels that offer a cost/performance advantage in the form grinding of aluminum oxide and the cutoff grinding of glass-filled polymers, and a vitrified diamond wheel made specifically for the manufacture and re-sharpening of PCD cutting tools.

Other products on display in the Greenlee booth include CBN polyamide grinding wheels that provide increased material removal rates, longer wheel life and superior form holding capabilities when grinding hardened tool steels and diamond-plated band saw blades that permit the sawing of sapphire, quartz, glass and other ultra-hard materials.
