Simply connect microVGA's 15 pin standard DIN connector to any standard VGA monitor - including LCD monitors - and you have an instant visual output for your microcontroller!
microVG's clever video signal circuitry offers a choice of 64/256 colors for graphics, text characters and screen background. Programming commands can perform a multitude of tasks rapidly, supplying high quality images with remarkable results.
Specifically designed to be user-friendly and cost effective, microVGA's resolution of 256 (H) x 200 (V) pixel up to 640 x 480 (VGA) makes standard built-in 128 character ASCII character set (fonts in 5 x 7 or 8 x 8 format) clearly visible for most situations. You can add 64 user-defined (8 x 8) bit mapped characters. microVGA has either a USB, TTL, or RS-232 serial interface with auto baud rate detection for speeds from 300 baud to 115.2K baud. Requiring a 5V 100mA supply, microVGA is 50mm(L) x 35mm(W) x 10mm(H). Variants with higher/lower resolution are also available.
