New Gear Pump Features Optional Pressure Control

The Series UP6 Gear Pump, designed for small scale water and process systems, is available with an optional microchip-based control circuit which acts as an “electronic brain” to control flow rate and prevent dry running.

Hudson, MA – Clark Solutions introduces Series UP6 Gear Pumps. These powerful, compact, self-priming, electrical pumps provide flow rates to 6.9 GPM at pressures up to 29 PSI and are available in 12VDC or 24VDC versions. Constructed with helical bronze gears, nickel-plated brass bodies, and stainless steel shafts, UP6 Gear Pumps are ideal for fresh water, diesel fuel and other compatible media.

An available model with lower operating speed is available for applications involving lubricating oils and viscous liquids. An optional built in electronic pressure control circuit (the “electronic brain”) is also available. In this model, a factory programmed pressure setting is maintained via a built-in microprocessor-based variable pump speed control circuit that utilizes an internal pressure sensor for loop feedback.  This enables the UP6 gear pumps to automatically adapt to the required flow rate, detect when tanks are empty, and stop the pump automatically to prevent damage from dry running.
