New PFA Lining Option Available On Richter(TM) Stainless Steel Full Port Ball Valve
(Lancaster, PA) - ITT Industries, Engineered Process Solutions Group introduced the latest improvement to their Richter(TM) KNA Full Port Ball Valve, available with the option of a lining made with PFA Fluoropolymer.
ITT EPSG developed the enhancement to meet the special needs of customers with operating conditions prescribed by Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient and High Purity Chemical processing.
The valve is manufactured with a 316 Stainless Steel body that is lined with PFA, providing a universal external and internal corrosion resistance and is ideal for installations where permeation is a concern.
The one-piece ball and stem also allows higher pressure and temperature service capabilities from the valve, now available in 1", 1.5" and 2" sizes.
Typical installations include conditions of Ultra-Pure Water, Hydrogen Fluoride, Hydrogen Peroxide and Clean room mandated restrictions on contamination and impurities. The valve is also found in many configurations involving a highly corrosive atmosphere.
