Select-Arc Offers Two New Stainless Steel Electrodes

Fort Loramie, OH - Select-Arc, Inc. has introduced two gas-shielded, flux cored austenitic electrodes to its stainless steel product line.

The SelectAlloy 308 electrode is intended for welding austenitic stainless steels to themselves in the flat and horizontal positions. This wire provides a smooth and stable arc with virtually no spatter and easily removable slag. SelectAlloy 308 is designed to weld types 301, 302, 304, 305 and 308 stainless steel.
