The First 1 Giga Ethernet Switch With a Recovery Time of 20 ms
A few days ago, WESTERMO put on the American market its 1 Giga Ethernet switch, the L1400, in its Lynx range. Its recovery time is 20 ms, the best performance level on the market.
This new product is the fruit of more than 5 years of collaboration with the OnTime Company. Specialized in engineering and development of software and protocols applicable to the industrial Ethernet, the company has developed a completely new patented proprietary protocol, FRNT (Fast Recovery Network Topology). It is implemented in the switch operating system, and it cuts reconfiguration time to 30 ms, and even 20 ms for some applications.
It is available at market rates, and it includes all the performance features of the LYNX Ethernet switch range:
Small overall size and considerable compactness,
