This branded directory assistance service takes traditional 411 to a new level, with some unique features, including:

Enhanced Call Completion

Set up your account to automatically complete all calls, no calls, or on a call-by-call basis via voice prompt.

Last Number Play Back / Redial

Press *69 while the greeting is played and you will hear and/or be reconnected to the last listing requested.

Category Requests

Request a short list of businesses by category and location.

SMS Text Messaging

Receive an SMS text message of the listing requested to your cell phone free of charge.

Email Messaging

Receive an email of the listing requested to your email address or PDA at no charge.

Call Warning (Cost Control Feature)

Set up your account to receive a voice warning when a given number of calls have been reached in a single month. System will play a warning message and allow the call to go through.

Call Limit (Cost Control Feature)

Set up your account for a limit of calls in a single month. System will play a message and not allow the call to go through.

Departmental Billing

Flag directory assistance calls by department. These calls will then be categorized separately on your monthly statement.

VOIS uses both live operators and voice-activated computers to answer inquiries and find the right phone number. VOIS also provides consumer-friendly reporting tools, including a log of recently made calls and a summary of all directory assistance charges.

Service providers can manage their directory assistance settings from Volo's carrier web interface (commadmin.com), allowing custom greetings, global account settings, call statistics, etc. In addition, their customers can manage individual settings for delivery of messages, and manage how their calls are handled, for a truly customized, interactive and enhanced service.
