Amerchol Introduces SatinFX(TM) Delivery System
Encapsulation Technology for Skin Care Products Launched at In-Cosmetics 2008 in Amsterdam Piscataway, NJ - April 15, 2008 Amerchol, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company and its consolidated affiliates, today introduced a new, patent-pending encapsulation and delivery system at In-Cosmetics 2008 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Known as SatinFX(TM) delivery system, this versatile, easy-to-use technology enables both hydrophobic and hydrophilic actives to be encapsulated in a variety of skin care products. The introduction of the SatinFX(TM) delivery system is another example of Amerchol's strategy to bring new technologies to the personal care industry in support of market needs meant to fulfill the increasingly sophisticated demands of the consumer. The SatinFX(TM) delivery system helps to address formulators' need to improve the stability and delivery of active ingredients, in response to the consumer demand for more effective, multifunctional skin care products.
